Suns Baseball Readies for NJCAA District C Tournament

After posting a record 37 wins and finishing second in the Metro Athletic Conference, the CVC Baseball Team will prepare for the NJCAA District C Tournament, that takes place Thursday, May 18 - Sunday, May 21 at Mike Carter Field in Tyler, TX. The pool includes four teams from Metro Athletic Conference/Region V and two from Region XIV.

The Suns will open the double-elimination tournament on Thursday against the Eastfield Harvesters at noon. The winner of that game will face Brookhaven College later in the day, while the loser will await their opponent on Friday.

CVC claimed the regular season series over EFC going 5-1. The Suns have won their last four meetings against the Harvesters.

The winner of the tournament will automatically qualify for the NJCAA Division III World Series in Greenville, Tennessee, set for Saturday, May 27 - Thursday, June 1, 2017.

$20 Tournament Pass
$7 per day session for adults
$5 per day session student with ID and children over 6 years
Under 6 years old---No charge
