The CVC Baseball Team will celebrate Cedar Valley College's 40th Anniversary this Wednesday when they face the Mountain View Lions. There will be a tailgate, food, and music on hand at the baseball field.
The Suns go into their second Metro Athletic Conference series of the season after taking two games in a three-game slate against the Richland Thunderducks. Billy Rogers registered three home runs in the series, with Ryan Boaz and Jesus Fraga earning wins on the mound. Skyler White was awarded a save in game one of the series.
Heading into the series, MVC has lost their last five games. Last season, the Suns swept the season series against the Lions.
Festivities for the 40th Anniversary begin at 12:30 pm.
