Before starting Dallas Athletic Conference play next week, the CVC Suns Baseball Team will take a trip to East Texas and face the No. 2 Tyler Apaches in a doubleheader on Saturday.
CVC currently sits at 3-2 and are looking to keep rolling after sweeping LeTourneau (JV) on Wednesday in a doubleheader. Isaia Diermier had a series-high four runs in game one with Noah Lynch and Jesus Fraga each earning wins from the mound.
No. 2 Tyler has a record of 11-1 having won their last five contests including a doubleheader sweep of Richland.
During the 2018 doubleheader series between the Suns and Apaches, Tyler earned victories in both games.
