The CVC Suns Baseball Team extended their win streak to four games after sweeping Southwest Collegiate Prep in a doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon. CVC improved their overall record to 8-4.
In the high scoring 15-11 game one victory, Chandler Boyd and Seth-Oz Inocencio each had a team-high three runs and four different Suns registered at least two hits. Jose Castillo and Hugo Garcia-Gaytan each recorded a team-high four RBIs with Connor Binkley earning the win from the mound tossing three strikeouts.
The Suns edged SWC in game two, 8-7. Grant Moore had a team-high two runs, while six different Suns crossed home plate. Seven different Suns recorded an RBI with Ryan Ratliff going a perfect 4-4 at bat. Dakota More earned the win throwing three strikeouts in two innings pitched.
Cedar Valley will return to Dallas Athletic Conference play on Wednesday in a series against Mountain View.
