Round 3- DAC!

Well- a month has come and gone already. While the Suns were only getting acclimated to their new sechedules a couple weeks ago, Spring Break now awaits just around the corner. That not only brings about mid-terms but mid-season as well. As for now, the Suns move on to their third three-series game of the Dallas Athletic Conference.

The conference may have kicked off on the wrong cleat that one week but that cleat is now on the other foot. It was the most hectic week of the season yet, when the Eastfield Harvester Bees caught up with the Suns, squeezing in a weekend DAC game. Needless to say, the Suns were not performing at their full potential when they lost the first one but they quickly made up for it by hosting and winning the next one. Last weekend, the Suns stayed home for a much needed rest then, won all three series home games against the North Lake Blazers. Now, they are off to Richland College to face off against the Thunderducks.

Last year, Cedar Valley played against Richland twice while competing in DAC. Both three-series games were close. The Suns won some; the Thunderducks won others. However, CVC claimed victory at the end of each three-series games against RLC. Nevertheless, the Thunderducks are expected to put up a good fight. Especially, since they've been out to beat us all year long. By the end of this week, they will finally have another shot at the Suns.

Good LUCK DUCKS! The Suns will meet up with them on Thursday, March 05, for the first series game at 2PM. CVC will host the next two series games on campus, starting with a 2PM game Friday. Back to back home games are scheduled to wrap up the last series game and the teams will face off noon this Saturday. With an outstanding grudge from last season between two teams notorious for bringing out the best in their competitor's game- this is one back to back series game to catch!
