Suns Basketball Head to Mountain View to Close Regular Season
The Cedar Valley Men's Basketball Team will wrap up their regular season this Saturday, when they gear up to face the Mountain View Lions wrapping up Metro Athletic Conference play. Heading into the final game of the regular season the Suns have an overall record of 8-19, 3-6 in MAC play.
In their most recent game CVC fell to the Brookhaven Bears 67-61 despite a game high 20 point effort by Jordan Evans.
Mountain View is currently in the final spot of the MAC standing with a 1-8 MAC record, 13-13 overall. The Lions won their last outing defeating Richland College 71-70.
In the last meeting between CVC and MVC, the Suns walked away with a 85-79 win, behind a 31 point effort by Evans. The two teams could possibly meet again in the upcoming post-season Metro Athletic Conference Tournament.
