Suns Basketball Prepares For MAC Tournament
The Cedar Valley Men's Basketball Team have wrapped up their regular season schedule and are gearing up for the first round of the Metro Athletic Conference Tournament. The Suns finished with a regular season schedule of 8-20, 3-7 in MAC play.
CVC comes into the MAC tournament as the fifth seed and will face fourth seed Richland College in the first round at Brookhaven College. The winner will advance to the semi-finals on February 18.
In their last meeting against Richland, Cedar Valley fell in a double overtime thriller 105-103. Jordan Evans led the way for the Suns with a game high 32 points. Other players scoring in double figures from the match-up included Eric Stewart (21), Levin Johnson (19), Raybon Riden (11) and Adrian Palacios (11).
Wrapping up the regular season, the Suns had numerous players in the top ten statically in the MAC:
