The CVC Men's Basketball Team opened their 2016-2017 season in dominating fashion, defeating the Minnesota West Blue Jays, 102-79 on Tuesday night. JF Thomas led all scorers with 20 points, while Dalyn Mumphrey turned in a double-double with 14 points to go along with a team high 13 rebounds.
Along with Thomas and Mumphrey, the Suns had three other players score in double figures including Eli Rockett (17), Desmond Kennedy (16), and Joshua Johnson (11).
Kennedy also had a team high five assists.
