Suns Handle Weatherford, 114-99

The CVC Men's Basketball Team made a statement in their first home game of the season, defeating the Weatherford Coyotes, 114-99. Desmond Kennedy led with a game high 26 points, shooting a scorching 6-10 from the three point arc.

During the victory, the Suns would go up by as much as 20 points, not allowing the Coyotes to gain an advantage. JF Thomas was key for CVC, recording a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Dalyn Mumphrey and Amariye Blunson also earned double-doubles, with each scoring 17 points and adding team highs, with Mumphrey's 12 rebounds and Blunson's 10 assists.

Eric Stewart also poured in 17 points.

Next up the Suns will host El Centro, this Thursday.
