Johnson Sinks Game-Winner in CVC Victory over Brookhaven, 103-101

The CVC Men's Basketball Team opened Metro Athletic Conference play, with a thrilling victory over the Brookhaven Bears, 103-101. Joshua Johnson turned in 20 points for the Suns, which included the game-winning basket with 2.1 seconds left on the clock. The Suns have now won four straight games.

Desmond Kennedy led all scorers with 22 points, going 6-11 from behind the three-point line, with JF Thomas registering a double-double with 18 points, 31 rebounds and a game high seven assists.

The Suns also had key contributions from Eric Stewart (14 points), Dalyn Mumphrey (12 points), and Levin Johnson (10 points) in the team effort.

The Suns will be back on their home floor Wednesday, when they host Mountain View College.
