The CVC Men's Basketball Team were held winless over the weekend at the Kilgore College Classic. Desmond Kennedy led the Suns in scoring both games during the classic.
Cedar Valley opened play against Tyler Junior College and were defeated 84-52. Kennedy posted 17 points, while JF Thomas Jr. registered nine points and 13 rebounds. Calvin Williams chipped in eight points and 10 rebounds.
In game two, the Suns were downed by Kilgore, 92-71. Kennedy turned in a 26 point performance and Chantz Williams notched 13 points and six rebounds. Thomas earned his first career triple-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.
Cedar Valley returns to action on Tuesday, when they host McLennan Community College
