The CVC Men's Basketball Team will face Creating Young Minds on Thursday night in the second game of their five-game home stand to close out the 2017 portion of their season.
 
In their last outing, Cedar Valley improved their home record to 4-2 after defeating Open Bible Prep Academy, 95-78. JF Thomas Jr. led the Suns with 26 points, while Desmond Kennedy and Amariye Blunson scored 17 and 13 points, respectively.
 

This will be the second meeting of the season between the Suns and CYM, with Cedar Valley besting the Yellowjackets, 78-72 in the first match-up. Thomas finished with 36 points and 19 rebounds to secure the win for CVC.
