The CVC Men's Basketball Team dropped their Metro Athletic Conference opener to the Brookhaven Bears, 101-87. Desmond Kennedy was the leading scorer for the Suns with 24 points.
Others scoring in double-figures for the Cedar Valley were Amariye Blunson (18 points), Trent Washington (15 points), and Chantz Williams (12 points).
The Suns will hit the road this Wednesday to continue MAC play against North Lake.
