Men's Basketball Will Host CYM on Tuesday
The CVC Suns Basketball Team are looking to snap their recent three-game slide when they host Creating Young Minds Academy this Tuesday at 7:00 pm. This will be the second meeting between Cedar Valley and CYM this season.
During the Sun's rough patch, Alphonso Hawkins was the leading scorer in all three games for CVC with 22 points against Paul Quinn (JV), eight points against Collin, and 13 points against Hill.
In the first meeting with CYM this season, the Suns earned a 95-83 victory. Ronnie Horner and Sidney Hadden were the leading scorers for the Suns with 16 points each and Larry Rusk Jr. engineered Cedar Valley's first triple-double of the year with 13 points, 12 assists, and 10 steals.
