The CVC Suns Basketball Team earned their first win of Dallas Athletic Conference play defeating the Brookhaven Bears on Wednesday night, 79-71. Alphonso Hawkins led CVC in the victory with 19 points.
Larry Rusk Jr. added another triple-double on the season with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, while Ronnie Horner logged 13 points.
William DeGraftenreed III had a game-high 14 rebounds to go along with seven points.
Next up, the Suns continue DAC competition at North Lake on Saturday.
