The CVC Suns Basketball Team will begin the second go-round of Dallas Athletic Conference play on Saturday when they travel to face the Richland Thunderducks. The Suns are currently in a three-game skid and are looking to get back in the win column.
Cedar Valley had a tough road loss in their last outing falling to Eastfield, 112-77. Larry Rusk Jr. had a game-high 23 points with Alphonso Hawkins and William DeGraftenreed III adding 17 and 14 points, respectively.
Richland sits atop the DAC with a conference record of 4-1 and recently defeated North Lake, 79-63.
In their first meeting earlier this season, the Suns fell to the Thunderducks, 85-64. Rusk led CVC again with 18 points.
