Alphonso Hawkins Commits to Concord U. (WV)

The CVC Athletic Department is proud to announce that Alphonso Hawkins has committed to further his education and basketball career at Concord University (WV).

In his two seasons at Cedar Valley, Hawkins has accumulated 483 points, 103 rebounds, 61 assists and has sunk 63 three-pointers with a 47.4 shooting percentage from behind the arc. After spending much of his freshman season as a reserve, the Killeen, Texas native exploded his sophomore year averaging 15.6 points per game, 3.3 rebounds per game with a 52.6 three-point percentage on his way to an All-Dallas Athletic Conference/Region V 1st Team selection and was named DAC Most Improved Player. Hawkins will be graduating this spring with his Associate of Arts degree.
