Cedar Valley Reaches .500 Mark Entering Saturday's Conference Opener

Dallas College Cedar Valley men's basketball team won its fourth straight game Tuesday, beating Paul Quinn College Junior Varsity on the road, 90-62.

The Suns improved to 9-9 overall, scoring at least 90 points for the third straight game.

Six players scored in double figures for Cedar Valley, including three starters. Malik Conley, Isaiah Sobers and Keshon Kittrell each had 13 points. Antonio Freeman scored 11 points, while Jude Donovan and Charles Walker had 10 apiece.

The Suns shot 31 of 66 from the field for 47 percent. They were 23 of 29 from the free throw stripe.

Conley had seven rebounds, Freeman grabbed six, and Walker five. Sobers and Keelan Russell each had four assists. Sobers, Freeman and Isaiah Brass each had three steals.

Cedar Valley will open Dallas Athletic Conference play at Dallas College Eastfield 1 p.m. Saturday.
