Cedar Valley Meets Eastfield 6 p.m. Tuesday in District Quarterfinals

Dallas College Cedar Valley's men's basketball team will meet Dallas College Eastfield in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South Central District quarterfinals 6 p.m. Tuesday at Eastfield.

This will mark the fourth game between the two teams this season, with Eastfield (20-7) having won the previous three.

Cedar Valley (11-17) is coming off a 90-88 victory over Dallas College Brookhaven in the regular season finale Saturday.

The Suns are paced by Isaiah Sobers' 13.8 points per game. He is also averaging 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. Isaiah Brass is averaging 12 points, and shooting 42.5 percent from three-point range. Antonio Freeman is averaging 10.5 points and one steal per game, while shooting 53.6 percent from the floor and 42 percent from the 3-point line.

Keshon Kittrell is scoring 9.1 points, grabbing 4.4 rebounds, and shooting 49 percent from the floor. Jude Donovan averages 8.4 points, four rebounds and 1.1 blocks, and is a 78 percent free throw shooter. Alonnie Carter is good for 8.2 points, 3.2 assists and 1.5 steals, and shoots 85.7 percent from the stripe. Malik Conley averages 7.9 points and 4.8 rebounds.

Cedar Valley fell to Dallas College Richland, 80-77, in last year's district quarterfinals.  

Tickets are $10 for a tournament pass for all games, $5 for adult single session of two games and $3 for students ages 6-18. Children under 6 are free. Dallas College students and employees with a current ID (must present at the gate) are free. Game programs are $2.
