Men's Basketball Releases 2023-24 Schedule
LANCASTER, Texas – Dallas College Cedar Valley men's basketball team released its schedule for the 2023-24 season.
The Suns, who finished 11-18 overall, 2-8 in the Dallas Athletic Conference last year, falling in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South Central District quarterfinals, will open the season at Temple College Nov. 1. It is the first of seven straight road games to begin the season over a two-week period.
Cedar Valley, under third-year head coach Roy Gregory, will host Creating Young Minds Nov. 16 in the home opener at 6 p.m. Following three more road games over a four-day stretch, the Suns will play four of their six games in December at home, beginning with Dallas Christian College on the first day of the month.
After the holiday break, Cedar Valley hosts Collin County Community College Jan. 4 before making its last nonconference road trip to the University of Arkansas Cossatot.
The Suns begin Dallas Athletic Conference play Jan. 20 at Dallas College Brookhaven. The first league home game is set for Jan. 24 against defending DAC champion Dallas College North Lake.
Cedar Valley will play its final home game against Dallas College Richland Feb. 21 before wrapping up the regular season Feb. 24 at Dallas College Mountain View.
The NJCAA Division III South Central District Tournament is set for Feb. 27-March 2.
