Men's Basketball Enters Second Half of Season

LANCASTER, Texas – Dallas College Cedar Valley men's basketball team will host Arlington Baptist University Red Team 6 p.m. Thursday as the second half of the season gets going.

The Suns (6-9) will host two games – the latter Wednesday, Jan. 17 versus Dallas Christian College at 6 p.m. – before beginning Dallas Athletic Conference play Saturday, Jan. 20 at Dallas College Brookhaven.

Sophomore guard Antonio Sisk is averaging 16.4 points, four rebounds and 1.7 steals per game. Freshmen swingmen Randarius Morris and Jayden Gaston are each scoring over 12 points, while Morris leads Cedar Valley in rebounding at 8.4 boards per game. Freshman guard Braylon Crosby is averaging 11.5 points, and sophomore swingman Antonio Freeman 10.3 points. Sophomore swingman Jude Donovan is scoring 8.7 points, and freshman swingman Charlie Gutierrez is good for 7.1 points and 4.8 rebounds. Sophomore guard Keelan Russell is averaging a team-best 3.1 assists, and is second in steals at 1.2 per game. Freshman forward Armani Reese leads the team with 1.6 blocks per game.

Cedar Valley is 4-2 at home this season.
