Sisk Named DAC Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Cedar Valley's Antonio Sisk was named the Dallas Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

A sophomore guard from Dallas, Sisk averaged 35.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, five steals and 2.5 assists in two league games last week. While celebrating his birthday Saturday, Sisk scored a career-high 42 points as the Suns picked up their first DAC win of the season, beating Dallas College Mountain View, 104-90. He had a career-best 16 field goals and eight steals, while grabbing five rebounds and shooting 57 percent from the floor. He was 7-for-10 from the free throw line.

In an 84-75 loss at No. 10 Dallas College Richland, Sisk finished with 35 points on 12 of 15 shooting, six boards, four assists and two steals. He was 8-for-10 at the free throw line.

Sisk has scored 30 or more points in his last three games. He's averaging 19.1 points, four rebounds and two steals per game, while shooting 53.7 percent from the floor, 50.5 percent from three-point range and 79.7 percent from the free throw line.

Cedar Valley (8-13, 1-4 DAC) will host Dallas College Brookhaven (13-10, 2-3) at 1 p.m. Saturday to begin the second half of league play.
