CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dallas College Cedar Valley's Antonio Sisk was chosen as the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

A sophomore guard from Dallas, Sisk averaged 35.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and five steals per game, steering the Suns to their best Dallas Athletic Conference two-game week of the season. Sisk scored a career-high 42 points on his birthday Saturday as Cedar Valley beat previously-ranked Dallas College Mountain View for its first DAC win of the season. He recorded career highs of 16 field goals and eight steals in the win. Three days earlier, Sisk went for 35 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals at then-No. 10 Dallas College Richland, which is now ranked No. 7 in the country.

In his last three games, Sisk has scored 30 or more points. He's averaging 19.1 points, four rebounds and two steals per game, while shooting 53.7 percent from the floor and 50.5 percent from three-point range, 79.7 percent from the free throw line.

Cedar Valley (8-13, 1-4 DAC) hosts Dallas College Brookhaven (13-10, 2-3) to begin the second round of conference play 1 p.m. Saturday.
