The CVC Suns Soccer Team has been firing on all cylinders since the return of the program in mid-August. The Suns are currently undefeated at 2-0 and have scored 10 goals in those two outings and have allowed only two goals. On Friday, the Suns will begin Dallas Athletic Conference play against the Richland Thunderducks.
Yair Gonzalez leads the team with six goals (recorded a hat trick in the season opener against Southwestern Adventist) with a .857 shooting percentage. Tommy Chavira, Jesus Hernandez, Julien Melingui, and Jose Rodriguez all have two assists so far this season.
Richland is currently 4-0 with their most recent outing being a 3-0 win over West Valley College.
This will be the first of two meetings this season between the teams.
