Men's Soccer Opens Season Aug. 19
LANCASTER, Texas – Dallas College Cedar Valley men's soccer team will open the season Aug. 19 at Trinity Valley Community College.
The Suns, which cracked the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Top 10 last year, will host Ranger College Aug. 23 in the home opener. That will begin a five-game homestand for the Suns. Cedar Valley will also host Blinn College Aug. 26, Garden City Community College Sept. 2, Southwestern Adventist University Sept. 8 and National Park College Sept. 10 during that stretch.
Following a road game with Texas Wesleyan University Reserves Sept. 15, the Suns will host Dallas College Mountain View in the first Dallas Athletic Conference matchup Sept. 20. Cedar Valley plays at defending NJCAA Division III champion Dallas College Richland Sept. 27.
Cedar Valley will play three of its five games in October at home, wrapping up the regular season with back-to-back home games against Richland Oct. 18 and Ecclesia College Oct. 22.
