Bolton Named National Player of Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dallas College Cedar Valley men's soccer's Bryson Bolton was named the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Player of the Week.

A sophomore forward from Ennis, Texas, Bolton figured into all five goals in the Suns' 5-3 win over Southwestern Christian College. He scored four goals, and had an assist. He had three goals in the second half as Cedar Valley rallied to win.

Bolton has a team-best seven goals and two assists this year.

Cedar Valley (2-12-0) will play Dallas College Mountain View (9-5-2) in the NJCAA Division III South District semifinals 12 p.m. Friday at Dallas College Richland. The match will be broadcast on the DAC Sports Network.
