The CVC Lady Suns Basketball Team look to avenge an early-season loss this week when they travel to Central Texas to face the McLennan Highlassies on Tuesday before the Thanksgiving break. This will be the first of back-to-back road games for Cedar Valley.
Despite having dropped their last three contests, the Lady Suns have competed at a high level for a first-year program, currently leading the Dallas Athletic Conference in points per game with 58.2. They have been edged in many contests this season including their most recent loss to the Bossier Parish Lady Cavs, 74-70.
In their last meeting with McLennan earlier this month, CVC was defeated 61-53.
