The CVC Lady Suns Basketball Team returns home on Saturday to host SouthWest Collegiate Institute for the Deaf at noon. CVC is currently in the middle of a six game slide.
Ambreenique Williams was the leading scorer for the Lady Suns in their last outing in a loss to Hill College, where she scored 17 points. De'Modesty Williams notched double-figures for the third straight game with 15.
In the first meeting against SWICD, Cedar Valley recoreded their first ever win in the Women's Basketball program history, 103-27. Alana Rusk had a team-high 23 points and D. Williams added 18 points in the historic victory.
