Women's Basketball Eager to Avenge Early Season Loss to SwCC on Wednesday Night

The CVC Lady Suns Basketball Team have been riding high since the beginning of the new year having won their last five games spanning back to 2018. The Lady Suns are hoping to make it six when they host the Southwestern Christian Rams on Wednesday night.

Cedar Valley enters the matchup with Southwestern Christian after a convincing victory against East Texas Baptist (JV), 74-51. Hot shooting was on display with Alana Rusk draining four of five three-pointers and ending the night with 15 points along with Trysten Mosley.

SwCC has lost their last eight games with their most recent being an 88-51 loss against Temple.

In their first meeting earlier this season, SwCC bested CVC, 74-64. Mosley and De'Modesty Williams each scored in double figures with 18 and 13 points, respectively.
