Women's Basketball Travels to Richland for Saturday Showdown

The CVC Lady Suns Basketball Team hits the road this weekend for a Saturday showdown against Dallas Athletic Conference foe, the Richland Thunderducks at noon to complete their season series. CVC is undefeated against DAC opponents and have won their last six games. 

Cedar Valley extended their win steak on Wednesday night to six games after defeating Southwestern Christian (JV), 92-66. Jaryanna Ward shined for the Lady Suns compiling a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Jaidyn Johnson and Nakeya Kelley also finished the night scoring in double-figures with 13 and 11 points, respectively.

In their last meeting with Richland, the Lady Suns grounded the Thunderducks, 80-42. Ambreenique Williams scored a game-high 20 points followed by Jaidyn Johnson with 18 points.
