Lee Selected DAC Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Cedar Valley's Kyra Lee has been named the Dallas Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

A 5-foot-6 freshman point guard from Memphis, Tennessee, Lee had a season-high 10 points and seven assists, while grabbing two rebounds in 18 minutes of an 84-60 win over Southwestern Assemblies of God University Junior Varsity. She was 3 of 5 from the floor, while knocking down both three-point field goals and both free throws she attempted.

Lee is shooting 43 percent from the floor and 46 percent from 3-point range this season.

Cedar Valley (9-5) is ranked No. 9 in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III poll. The Suns are off until Jan. 23 when they play at East Texas Baptist University Junior Varsity. Cedar Valley's road game against Jacksonville College scheduled for Monday has been postponed until Feb. 24.
