Bio

Latasha Keith was named head women's basketball coach at Dallas College Cedar Valley in June 2019.

Keith guided Cedar Valley to a 15-5 record in 2022-23. The Suns shared the Dallas Athletic Conference regular season title with Dallas College Mountain View, each team going 3-1 in league play. The Suns were ranked No. 7 in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III poll for most of the season. Guard Shandrea Yeldell earned NJCAA Division III Third Team All-America honors.  

In 2021-22, Keith guided the Suns to an unbeaten record in Dallas Athletic Conference play, going 5-0. Cedar Valley, which went 9-8 overall, advanced to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Southeast District tournament. Alexis Anderson was a Third Team All-American. Keith was named the DAC Coach of the Year.

In 2020-21, during the COVID-altered season that was pushed to the spring, Cedar Valley played nine games -- all against Dallas College Mountain View. The Suns went 3-3 in league games that year.

In her first year leading the program, the Suns went 12-11 overall, 8-0 in the DAC in 2019-20. Cedar Valley won the NJCAA DIII Southeast District championship, beating Prince George's Community College, 63-62, to advance to the national tournament. The Suns beat Massasoit Community College in the national quarterfinals before falling in the semifinals. Keith was named the DAC Coach of the Year. 

Keith (Latasha Roach) led the nation in rebounding while playing for Jarvis Christian College, now Jarvis Christian University. 

Keith earned a Bachelor of Science in interdisciplinary studies in education from Jarvis Christian in 2004. She earned a Master of Science in criminology from Texas A&M Commerce University in 2014. She is pursuing a Master of Science in sports administration from Southeastern Oklahoma University.
