Women's Soccer: CVC announces Sam Perico as new Lady Suns Head Coach

Cedar Valley Director of Athletics Krasi Kolarov has announced that Sam Perico has been named Head Coach of the CVC Lady Suns Soccer Team.

Perico began at Cedar Valley as an assistant coach for the Lady Suns in the fall of 2018. Prior to CVC, he was an assistant coach for the Men's and Women's soccer programs at Mountain View from 2016-2018, leading the Women's Team to the conference semi-finals in 2016.

During his playing career, Perico competed for Richland College and led the team to back-to-back NJCAA National Tournament appearances and then earned a scholarship to the University of Houston-Victoria helping the Jaguars to the Association of Independent Institutions Conference Tournament receiving All-Conference honors.
