Volleyball Falls in NJCAA Region V Playoffs

The Cedar Valley Volleyball Team fell in the first round of the NJCAA Region 5 playoffs after being swept, 3-0 by Richland College. Stella Ramirez led the Lady Suns with six kills and eight assists with Morgan Mauk registering 11 digs.

Richland would go up 1-0 in the match after winning the first set, 25-12. Cedar Valley played Richland closer in the second set, but the Thunderducks would edge the set 25-22. In the final third and final set of the match, the Thunderducks closed out the Lady Suns, 25-15.

CVC finishes the 2015 season with an overall record of 1-32.
