Jazlyn Pipkins Signs with Felician University

The CVC Athletic Department is proud to announce that Jazlyn Pipkins has signed a letter of intent to further her education and volleyball career at Felician University. She will also run track for the Golden Eagles.

"Jaz is a great student-athlete who came in looking for an opportunity to be a part of something bigger than herself, she trusted the program's mission and vision," says CVC Head Volleyball Coach Isabel Almendarez-Ramos. "Her commitment, dedication, service, and work ethic on and off the court has helped her achieve multiple accolades here at Cedar Valley College which is going to translate to great success at Felician University."

During the 2016-2017 season, Pipkins led the Lady Suns with 70 total blocks (0.78 b/s) and 62 block assists. She also tallied 94 kills and 11 solo blocks on her way to an All-Metro Athletic Conference/Region V honorable mention.

"We're going to miss Jaz this season, however it's amazing to have a freshman come in for one year, trust her coaching staff, graduate with honors and and get the opportunity to continue her volleyball and track career," continued Coach Almendarez.

Felician University is a four-year institution in Rutherford, New Jersey, that competes in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference and is NCAA Division II sanctioned.
