Lady Suns Fall to Ranger in Four Sets
The CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team suffered their first loss of the season falling to Ranger College in four sets (25-19,22-25,12-25,19-25). Mallorie Brooks notched a team-high 15 kills to go along with 14 digs, completing her second double-double of the season.

"The momentum didn't carry over after the first set, all momentum was lost. We needed to keep the focus that we had at the start of match and learn to make adjustments quicker during the matches," said Head Coach Isabel Almendarez-Ramos.

Miranda Solis tuned in 35 assists and two service aces, while Sarah Carrola led the Lady Suns with 27 digs.

CVC will return to action this Thursday for "Back to School Blues Night" against the Seminole State Trojans. The first 25 CVC faculty, staff, or students will receive a free shirt.
