The CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team were shutout in their doubleheader against Panola College and Odessa College on Friday afternoon.
In game one of the day, Panola handed the Lady Suns a loss in straight sets (17-25,22-25,21-25). Brenda Duran had eight kills, while Miranda Solis had 20 assists, and Sarah Carrola had 23 digs.
In game two, CVC was able to win one set in their four-set defeat to Odessa. Makayla Brisco had a team-high 10 kills with Solis adding 30 assists. Duran and Carrola each had 15 digs.
Cedar Valley returns to action on Monday, when they begin Metro Athletic Conference play against Brookhaven College.
