MAC Tourney Preview: Lady Suns vs. Richland
The CVC Volleyball Team returns to the Metro Athletic Conference Tournament as the fourth seed and will face the Richland Thunderducks Wednesday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m. on the campus of Eastfield College.
The season series between the Lady Suns and Thunderducks resulted in a split, with RLC winning the first meeting 3-2 and CVC closing the year with a 3-1 victory.
In their 3-1 win over RLC, Brenda Duran and Miranda Solis each turned in double-double performances, with Duran registering 21 kills and 17 digs, while Solis posted 33 assists and 16 digs.
The Lady Suns are currently on a three-game winning streak after defeating Mountain View, Paul Quinn College, and Richland.
