Lady Suns Complete Season Series Sweep Over Mountain View, 3-1
The CVC Volleyball Team improved their Metro Athletic Conference record to 4-5 after defeating the Mountain View Lions, 3-1 on Thursday night. In the victory, Mallorie Brooks led the charge with 17 kills and 15 digs.
To complete the season sweep of Mountain View, Cali Odom and Brenda Duran each registered double-digit kills with 12 and 10, respectively, while Sarah Carrola had a team-high 27 digs. Miranda Solis chipped in 17 digs, with Christian Wilson adding 11.
Miranda Solis turned in a game high 24 assists and Korina Dominquez added 18.
The Lady Suns will take a break from conference play, when they travel to face Paul Quinn College.
