Lady Suns Dominate Richland On Sophomore Night
The CVC Volleyball Team ended their regular season on a high note defeating the Richland Thunderducks in four sets. Sophomore Brenda Duran had a stellar evening tallying a game-high 21 kills and 17 digs, completing a double-double.
Miranda Solis also had a double-double with 33 assists, 16 digs, and added four service aces.
Other standout performances included Cali Odom (11 kills, three blocks, three digs, and two service aces), Sarah Carrola (17 digs and one service ace), and Christian Wilson (12 digs and one service ace).
The Lady Suns will prepare for the Metro Athletic Conference Tournament that begins this Wednesday and will be hosted by Eastfield College.
CVC will face Richland in the opening round.
