MAC Tourney Semi-Finals Preview: Lady Suns vs. No. 2 Eastfield
The CVC Volleyball Team is one step closer to the Metro Athletic Conference Tournament Championship after defeating Richland College in four sets in the quarter-final round of the MAC tourney. 2007 was the last time Cedar Valley advanced to the MAC semi-final round.
Mallorie Brooks had a game-high 22 kills in the win. Miranda Solis and Sarah Carrola also posted game-highs, with Solis adding 43 assists and Carrola posting 23 digs.
CVC will face the nationally ranked, No. 2 Eastfield Harvesters in the semi-finals of the conference tournament, this Friday. The Harvesters concluded the regular season with a 10-0 record in MAC play.
The Lady Suns were swept in both meetings with EFC this season.
