The CVC Volleyball Team pushed the nationally ranked No. 2 Eastfield Harvesters to the limit in their 3-2 loss in the Metro Athletic Conference Tournament Semi-Final round.
CVC dropped the first set of the evening, before replying back with a 26-24 win in the second set to tie the match 1-1.
The Lady Suns fell in the third set before rallying back and claiming set four with a 25-23 victory.
Heading into the fifth and final set of the night, Cedar Valley would be bested 15-10 by Eastfield.
The Lady Suns finish their 2017 campaign with an overall record of 9-20 (5-5 in MAC play).
