Lady Suns Rally to Defeat North Lake in Five Sets
The CVC Volleyball Team earned a key win in Metro Athletic Conference action after defeating the North Lake Balzers in five sets (21-25, 25-23, 22-25, 25-21, 15-12). Three Lady Suns had at least ten digs including Mallorie Brooks (11), Brenda Duran (10), and Cali Odom (10).
Duran completed a double-double with a team-high 34 digs, with Brooks achieving a double-double as well adding 30 digs. Christina Wilson added 23 digs.
Miranda Solis achieved a team-high 26 assists and 16 digs earning a double-double, with Korina Dominquez chipping in 11 assists.
Cedar Valley will take a break from MAC action to take on Panola College this Friday.
