The CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team hit a setback on Monday night falling to the Vernon Chaps in four sets (23-25,16-25,25-23,24-26). Mallorie Brooks had a team-high 22 digs.
Samantha Hernandez had a double-double with 31 assists and 14 digs, with Jasmine Davis tallying seven kills (.300 hitting percentage) and 11 digs.
Amaya Saenz also had a double-double with 11 kills and 16 digs.
The Lady Suns will face North Central Texas on Wednesday.
