Volleyball Sinks North Lake in Straight Sets

It was winning time on Thursday night as the CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team defeated North Lake in straight sets (25-22,25-13,25-20) for their first Dallas Athletic Conference victory. Jasmine Davis had a double-double with 15 kills, 11 digs, three blocks, and finished with a hitting percentage of .488.

Samantha Hernandez also had a double-double with 35 assists and 16 digs. Mallorie Brooks notched 25 digs, nine kills, and two service aces, with Kayla Lansford adding ten kills.

The Lady Suns will take a break from DAC play when they travel to take on Coastal Bend and Laredo Community College on Saturday.
