The CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team were defeated on Thursday night by the Brookhaven Bears in four sets (24-26,25-20,29-31,17-25). Jasmine Davis and Samantha Hernandez each earned a double-double with Davis posting 17 kills, 18 digs, and four blocks and Hernandez registering 22 assists and 13 digs.
Amaya Saenz and Mallorie Brooks each had double-figure digs with 23 and 20, respectively. The duo also combined for 12 kills, two service aces, and two blocks.
Miranda Solis chipped in 23 assists.
The Lady Suns will head to East Texas on Saturday to take on Trinity Valley in non-conference action.
