Volleyball Blazes Past North Lake in Straight Sets

The CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team completed their season series sweep over the North Lake Blazers on Thursday night in straight sets (25-23,25-19,25-19). Mallorie Brooks had 16 kills, 24 digs, and one block in the win.  

Amaya Saenz registered a team-high 20 digs, while Samantha Hernandez posted a stat line of 19 assists, seven digs, and three service aces. Kayla Lansford finished the night with a hitting percentage of .500 and three blocks.

After having their game on Friday evening against Trinity Valley canceled, the next outing for the Lady Suns will be more Dallas Athletic Conference play on Monday when they host Mountain View.
