Volleyball Slams Richland on Sophomore Night in Straight Sets
The CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team concluded Dallas Athletic Conference action on Monday night defeating the Richland Thunderducks in straight sets (25-21,25-15,31-29). The Lady Suns completed the series sweep against the Thunderducks.
Mallorie Brooks finished the night with a 17 kill, 15 dig double-double and a block. Jasmine Davis notched 16 kills, seven digs, a service ace, and a block assist.
Samantha Hernandez had a team-High 20 assists, followed by Miranda Solis with 18 assists.
Amaya Saenz and Janessa Figueroa chipped in 14 and five digs, respectively.
The Lady Suns will prepare for the Dallas Athletic Conference Tournament on Wednesday when they face Richland in the first round.
