Cade Contreras Commits to The University of the Southwest (NM)

The CVC Athletic Department is proud to announce that Cade Contreras has committed to further this education and baseball career at the University of Southwest.

 

During his two years at Cedar Valley, the right-handed pitcher demonstrated a positive attitude and work ethic on and off the field. Academically, Cade supports a 3.40 GPA and graduated with an Associate in Science Degree this past May 2020. He plans to pursue his college major in Kinesiology with a minor in Education. Cade's academic accomplishments were recognized by the NJCAA last year with the Third Team All-Academic Award. In addition, he has earned several Dallas Athletic Conference Academic Achievement Awards and is a Phi Theta Kappa Member.

 

The University of Southwest is a four-year institution in Hobbs, New Mexico that competes in the Red River Athletic Conference and is sanctioned by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
