Suns Open DAC Play This Week
NJCAA DIII Women's Soccer Poll
Dallas Athletic Conference play begins this week for men's and women's soccer.
The three-team men's soccer conference schedule begins Wednesday with Dallas College Cedar Valley (5-1) playing at Dallas College Mountain View (1-3). The Suns, which have been ranked in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Top 10 this season, have won their last three games all by shutout verdicts. Cedar Valley has shut out those opponents by a combined score of 12-0.
The league schedule runs through Oct. 19.
The six-team women's soccer league schedule runs from Friday through Oct. 18. Cedar Valley (1-3) hosts Mountain View (0-2) at 4 p.m. The Suns won their first game in nearly four years to open the season.
The DAC postseason tournament is scheduled for Oct. 26-29 with the highest seed hosting.
Dallas College Brookhaven, Richland and Mountain View have all been ranked in the national poll this season.
